Ah, HTML5… It’s 1999 all over again. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a web browser should be more like a television set. They must support and implement standards equally or what is the point. Imagine that your tv displayed certain channels in black and white because it didn’t understand how to display certain broadcast signals.
Here is an overproduced short film of a cat named Archie as he takes shower. Archie is obsessed with water and takes a shower everyday. He believes cleanliness is next to catliness.

Love it or hate it, Adobe Flash isn’t going anywhere. It’s just evolving. And this is a big step in it’s evolution. Epic Games the makers of Gears of War series and the Unreal Engine which powers dozens of AAA games, announced that Unreal Engine 3 now has support for Flash Player 11. Adobe and Epic demoed a Flash based version of Unreal Tournament 3 during Adobe MAX.
Pretty effin’ cool. I can’t believe I missed this announcement.
This reminds me of a series of paintings I did twenty years ago. Might have to revisit.
